A brand new sparkling star, designed and constructed by Newton Gallery, will light up Sagunto Street at the annual Santa Ynez Christmas Tree lighting event on Friday, December 1 at 5:30 pm.
The town holiday festivities sponsored by the Santa Ynez Chamber of Commerce kick off at 4 pm with Jeff and Harmony Foss singing traditional Christmas carols and upbeat holiday songs.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting at 4 pm as well to hear special “wish lists” for Christmas. Parents are welcome to capture their little ones with Santa and Mrs. Claus for a fun and memorable holiday photo.
In addition to Jeff and Harmony Foss traditional carols will fill the street and courtyard at the Moniot Building just across from the town Christmas Tree. Fresh hot popcorn will be popping and a wide array of seasonal cookies and cider donated by the Valley Grind will be available to get the holiday spirit off to a great start.
The big finale at 5:30 pm will be the lighting of the large cedar tree that has been dubbed the town’s official Christmas tree since the first Santa Ynez Chamber of Commerce sponsored tree lighting event began in 2014.
Bring family and friends to this warm and friendly hometown tree lighting. It is a wonderful tradition for Santa Ynez and all Valley residents. Make it an evening out as many outstanding restaurants are available for dinner following the tree lighting.
