Neal Taylor Nature Center at Cachuma Lake

Come by the nature center and enjoy our exhibits, weekly and seasonal events, book sales, workshops, gift shop and more!

“Founded in 1988, the Neal Taylor Nature Center at Cachuma Lake is celebrating 35 years of connecting kids and adults to discovering the wonders of their own backyard – Cachuma Lake and the Santa Ynez watershed.”

The Neal Taylor Nature Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that runs completely on donations and grants.
They are open Thursday through Sunday from 10am-4pm (Sundays until 2pm) and are located within the Cachuma Lake Recreation Area, a Santa Barbara County Park. There is a $10 per vehicle county fee to access Cachuma Lake.

Please consider membership in the Neal Taylor Nature Center, as a way of supporting their educational activities, they host hundreds of school aged children each year.
