Vineyard Girl Bakes
I am a food blogger and trained pastry chef, having graduated from Tante Marie’s Cooking School in San Francisco. Over the past twenty years, I have been a chef and food consultant for a variety of clients including; Gjelina in Venice, Tabu Grill in Laguna Beach, Whole Foods Market, and Elaine Bell Catering Company in Sonoma California. Also, I have operated a personal chef business in Pacific Palisades called “Fresh Plate” and have written articles for the San Francisco Chronicle, Food Section and for “Grand Tour” magazine in Southern, California. I have taught adult and children’s cooking classes for Whole Foods Market in the Bay Area. For great recipes — check out my blog at www.genabell.com
Prior to food consulting, I graduated from California State University Fullerton with a B.A. in Business Administration and an MBA from Pepperdine University. I was the Director of Marketing at Ernst & Young LLP, covering a variety of industries including; real estate, food manufacturing, retail and hospitality. I love to bake, run and bike through the Santa Ynez Valley, go wine tasting, and write about food.
